The project
2nd largest bank-insurer in Belgium and 1st financial partner of the public sector, Belfius operates a network of 530 bank branches, each with an average of 5 safes (3 ATM terminals and 2 others). Each must be opened and closed at least once a day, representing a minimum of 2,500 daily operations to manage securely.
Challenges
Centralized management
Managing a minimum of 5,000 daily operations for opening and closing safe locks across 530 branches, by a large number of users (branch staff and cash-in-transit personnel).
Enhanced security
Ensuring the security of each operation through unique one-time opening codes (OTC = One Time Codes), delivered daily and collected by phone.
Multilingual management
Ensuring bilingual French/Dutch management of all conversations with agents and cash-in-transit personnel.

Vocabase deployed a secure voicebot integrated with Belfius's telephony infrastructure and centralized lock management system.

Managing secure telephone transactions for opening and closing locks, via user code identification coupled with a unique daily OTC code.
